Grubs in LawnThis weekend I was doing a little digging and rearranging of landscape and I could not believe my eyes. I saw two of those bright white grubs in the soil. This is way too soon to start seeing these crazy creatures.

This spring the soil temperatures have been much warmer and I have noticed more bugs, in general are making their way through the soil.

Typically, I have waited till the first week of June to apply a grub killer to the lawn. This year I am not waiting that long. The first part of May, I plan on applying a grub killer to hopefully sto the spread of grub eggs in the soil.

If you have ever had issues in the past with grubs, don’t ignore this issue. Make sure you have a plan to address it.
